Throwing it back to 2025 when we introduced the baby to the bus for the very first time.

The girls were squealing, climbing the steps, and already claiming their future bunks before we had even turned a single wrench.

To them, it wasn't a school bus.

It was adventure. It was home. It was the start of a story we hadn't written yet.
Looking back, I think they understood the dream before we did. ♡

As we celebrate 250 years of America, we wanted to take a moment to teach our girls something important: freedom has a history, and that history was written by brave men and women who served our country.

One of my favorite parts of homeskooling is getting to teach lessons that don't come from a textbook.

So we spent the afternoon making thank you cards for veterans, filling them with sweet drawings, colorful stickers, and little messages from little hands.

There was even an old mailbox waiting to send them on their journey. 📬🇺🇸

Another successful day at Mama & Minis Lemonade Stand! 🍋☀️

One of our favorite parts of homeskooling is finding ways to weave faith, learning, and real-life experiences together. Today's lemonade stand was more than just selling cups of lemonade. It was an opportunity to practice kindness, stewardship, hard work, and serving others with joyful hearts.

The girls helped track sales, work through our cost breakdown sheet, count inventory, and learn how expenses, pricing, and profit all work together. They're developing business skills while also learning that every gift and opportunity is something we can use to glorify God and serve our community.

This week, history class happened on foot as we explored a historic town and read the stories etched into its plaques along the way.

On the agenda: sweep the floors, make a mess, help with demo, and dream about all the places this bus will take us someday.

They're already calling dibs on the driver's seat... now we just need to finish building the bus. ♡

And before anyone asks... no, nobody drank from the cup that got a fresh topping of broom dust. 😂

The Hedgehog Hideaway got her very first fill up today and let me tell you... those big rig pumps are a whole different experience. We definitely had a little learning curve figuring out how to fuel up a bus.

Then it was time for her first road trip from IL to MO! The baby girls were so excited for the adventure, and our bus did so good the whole way. 🚍 ♡

First fill up. First road trip. More firsts to come. This little bus is already becoming part of our family's story.

Today our little C L A S S R O O M looked a lot like coloring pages, paint-covered fingers, bracelets, and meaningful conversations 🤍🇺🇸

As we learned about Memorial Day, we spent time talking about freedom and gratitude through hands-on activities and shared stories from Daddy’s time in the military, and talked about what it means to remember and honor the fallen. We colored, painted star frames, practiced scissor skills, sorted colors, threaded beads for hand-eye coordination, and let creativity lead the way.

We also read Let's Thank God for Our Freedom and took a moment to remember the meaning behind the day.

One of my favorite parts of homeschooling is realizing that learning often looks like tiny hands creating, exploring, and making memories together.

So thankful to be partnering with a curriculum that makes learning meaningful, engaging, beautiful, and God-led for little learners. ✨
